This is hand down one of my favorite fall treats! But wait… do I really have to count it as a treat when the macros are so good? At just over 100 calories and 15 grams of protein per serving, this “treat” is more like a super snack fuel a good workout or enjoy after dinner without any guilt.

The thick, creamy, smooth, and decadent texture of this pumpkin protein mousse is reminiscent of pumpkin cheesecake but without any of the fat (or hassle to make!). Just make a big batch, portion into 5 containers, and your set to enjoy the flavor of the season each day this week. Just grab a spoon, maybe a few pumpkin snaps, and your healthy pumpkin treat is ready to go.

I used to always pack this into my lunch box for work and eat it in the afternoon. You know that time of the day when your willpower to eat well starts to go out the window? That’s when I start looking around for the cookies a coworker made (that I resisted all morning) or walking by the vending machine eyeing a candy bar. But a little bowl of Pumpkin Cheesecake Protein Mousse satisfies my sweet tooth and gives me a protein boost to get my energy back and finish up the day without giving into unhealthy temptations.

My favorite way to eat Pumpkin Cheesecake Protein Mousse is in a fancy sundae cup. I don’t know why, but it makes it feel more special (maybe because we otherwise only use them for ice cream sundaes) and indulgent! And for a super special treat, layer it with some crushed up pumpkin or gingerbread snaps and a few dollops of whipped cream (although I’m totally a Cool Whip girl… I just can’t look at the ingredient list anymore!).

My favorite protein powder is Whey+ from Legion Athletics. I’ve been a huge fan of Mike Matthews, his books, and podcast for a while, so when he created his own line of supplements because he couldn’t find any up to his standards, I knew they would be good!

Besides tasting great, everything is extremely high quality, no fillers or junk, and very reasonable prices for such superior ingredients.

Want to try it out? Get 10% off your order and super-fast free shipping from Legion Athletics! And it comes with a money-back guarantee if you don’t like it (see why I love this guy and his company?!)

Legion Whey+ is also sold on Amazon, but the price is usually a few dollars higher.

What are your favorite healthy alternatives to pumpkin pie and other Thanksgiving treats? Let me know so I can try them!
